Rob Davis has spent most of his life in the outdoors and around plants. Through 20 years of experience in the nursery industry (and most intimately, working at his family’s retail garden center, East Bay Nursery in Berkeley), Rob has accumulated a wealth of knowledge on everything under the sun.

From designing irrigation systems to constructing garden waterfalls, and from creating landscape designs to selecting the perfect plant material to thrive in that ‘hard-to-grow’ spot, Rob is a walking horticultural encyclopedia.

He is a member of the California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers and has more than 10 years of experience on the Organization Committee for the Garden Market Expo, one of the largest retail garden and landscape trade shows in the country. Rob has also designed and installed three exhibits at the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show.

Rob has successfully shunned commitment to any higher institution of learning, but rather has amassed his wisdom through the School of Life.
