Mike Winter is with Navigant Consulting as a Director in the Litigation & Investigations practice in the San Francisco office. 

Mike, who is formerly a Senior Vice President at Banc of America Securities LLC, specializes in the areas of corporate and regulatory investigations, as well as securities and brokerage activities. He has engaged in a variety of projects that have required advanced knowledge of compliance issues, brokerage operations, information technology and securities regulations, including the Securities and Exchange Acts of 1933 and 1934 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.

Served as business consultant to
Bank of America’s Global Corporate
& Investment Banking division and managed strategic initiatives aimed at increasing revenues and/or customer satisfaction, and dramatically reducing infrastructure expenses.

Mike is also an attorney and has experience in a wide variety of banking issues including equity capital raising, mergers & acquisitions, hedge funds, mutual funds, and public finance, estate litigation and transactions.

He served as outside general counsel for two national wireless communications companies, negotiated and prepared agreements for mergers & acquisitions of privately held companies, and directed litigation matters for corporate clients.

With degrees from California State University Chico and Golden Gate University School of Law, Mike is a huge Duke fan. (Go figure ... Go Duke!)
